Payment Options
The City of Indianola offers a variety of convenient payment options for our residents. Simply choose the option that best suits your needs.
Online Bill Payment
If paying your bill Online just click the green "Pay Your Bill Now" button.
To proceed, you will need:
- The customer number for your utility payment(only the first set of numbers should be entered)
- Checking or Savings account (with the routing number) or MasterCard, Discover or Visa credit card information
A small transaction fee will be added to your payment. For some payments, the selection of eCheck will give you a discount on your transaction fee. You may print a receipt when the transaction is complete.
The total payment covers the amount you owe as well as the operating costs, incurred by the Nebraska.gov Network Manager, Nebraska Interactive, LLC dba NIC Nebraska contracted by the Nebraska State Records Board (NSRB) to provide online services for Nebraska government agencies, including the State's portal (www.Nebraska.gov). NIC Nebraska builds and manages online solutions that help the Nebraska government realize greater operational efficiencies by allowing citizens to interact quickly and easily with their government.
Payment By Mail
If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your payment coupon. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five-seven business days before the due date specified on your bill.
Automatic Bank Draft
The worry-free way to pay your bill. With this service, the amount of your monthly bill is automatically deducted from your bank account and credited to your utility account. There is no set-up fee or charge associated with this method of payment. To set up Automated Bank Draft, please stop in to office and fill out the ACH Recurring Debit Form along with a voided check.
Payment Drop-off Location
You may pay your bill in person at our office address. We accept cash, check, or money orders. To avoid longer wait times, please note that Mondays, Fridays and the first day after a holiday are normally very busy. A drop box is located on South side of building and can be accessed any time of the day/weekend to deposit your payments.
Payment Through Financial Institution Online Bill Pay
Many financial institutions such as major banks offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your bank's website). Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take up to seven business days to post to the customer's account. Please consult with your bank for more information.
